Thanks for posting the suggestions, it definately gives me some more ideas I can throw at my Saab mechanic.
To answer your questions:
1. Temp indicator goes to 9 o'clock and stays there at highway speed?
Yes, it stays at normal temps when driving on the street and on the highway.
Starts ok?
Yes, no problems starting.
MPGs at highway speed good?
I'm not sure. I live in LA and I drive alot of short distances I only live about 20 miles from the office and about 20 miles from the ocean. I do alot more surface street driving than my dialy hiway commute. Ave mpg is about 21. I have been able to get 27 mpg on long distance driving (LA to Napa)
Fuel filter changed with pump?
To my recolection, the fuel filter was changed after the fuel pump. I'll have to dig through my records to find out when the fuel pump was changed.
Does this provide you any additional information to help change your diagnoises?
If you would like to ask additional questions, feel free to give me call. 818-625-2023
