i am suprise to say that the kbb(kelly blue book value) for "retail" is over 5k. wow. I would not count on getting another 100k miles out of it with out spending a ton of money as repairs are needed. Having a turbo is nice, i think once you try it you will never want a car without it, a saab se with automatic transmission is also a very nice option. If you are not a do it yourself type of person the car will get costly. And its not like you can go down to the autozone and expect to find a part so you might find yourself with out a car time to time. I spent 5k years ago(4?) for my 900set97 and have gotten 100k miles out of it but it has become a slight headache an our current motto is if its not life threatning don't fix it. When I replace this car, I might elect not to get another saab. But they are fun fast safe cars.
900set97, 179k miles, automatic, sedan.
