Car: Saab 9-3 2001
Little History (I have documentation for all below incidents - dealer was always Bently Cadillac and Saab in Huntsville, AL - a Saab certified dealer):
07 OCT 2004
Problem: Airconditioner fails due to no freon.
Dealer charges NPN Hose and Freon.
11 April 2005 (60K miles)

Dealer charges for NPN Valve (2x) and Freon
16 March 2006
Problem: Same as above
Dealer charges for Core ASM and NPNCore Large, but found High and Low scharder values leaking and recharged A/C System.
13 June 2006
Problem: Same as above
Dealer charges for freon and dye, bute states checked by tech and found a/c low on freon and inspected on leaks at time, evac recharged and a/c system added dye to system.
1 August 2006
Problem: Same as above
Dealer charges for Evaporator, Freon, AC Valve, but states found leak at evaporator core and replaced evaporator core and charged expedited freight charges.
13 December 2006
The problem is back and I am fed up. I called Saab Customer Service, 800-955-9007, and I talk with Denis at 0830 a.m. He takes my information and pulls the service. He says he will check into it and call back. He calls back around 1:00 p.m. and said he called the dealer and they promise to fix the problem. I state this is unacceptable because they should have fixed the proble the first five times. We discuss further and he will talk with his boss, Franco.
15 December 2006 (86K miles)
I don't hear from Saab service, so I call them at 0830 a.m. I talk with Denis again and also then he brings Franco on the line. I talk with Franco and he states that (I am paraphrasing) Saab is essentially powerless to control the work done by the dealer and can only provide engineers to help if they are called by the dealer.
At this point I am really disappointed by Saab service for being powerless to guarantee the problem will be solved completely and really frustrated with Bently Cadillac and Saab, which is a Saab certified dealer. Plus, my Saab 2001 9-3 is still broken.
Thoughts? Suggestions? Sympthy?
Can legal action be taken?
