I had a 95 vert and it was a mess, I ended up replacing the front end, a rebuilt turbo, I had to put a top from a 98 on it when the rear window blew out, the shifter linkage had to be upgraded - in short when anything went wrong on the car there seem to be an upgraded part or a service bulletin on that part - I also had to redo the motor for the top cover. When the sluge issue killed the motor I tossed in the towel and got a 99 93 vert from a dealer. In short the 95 900 was the first car put out under full GM ownership and they made a mess of it. Best call is go with a nice 900 classic or more cash and a later 93.
