Have younger 2 kids, no dog. Drive 900SET coupe as commuter, Honda minivan, and Porsche 993 cabrio. For some reason even with the minivan and the SAAB, we always end up taking the cabrio on weekends. The kids love the 2+2 seating.
But I understand need for larger vehicle, especially with infant. My experience, the smaller/younger the child the more stuff you need to drag around. The Honda was a great to haul things when our kids were younger. A real necessity for young family, in my opinion.
