My first new Saab is a 01' 93SE after owning Volvo's for 18 years. I certainly made the right decision moving to Saab. I believe the 93 02' was the last year before GM took it over. Saab people told me the newer models (93's) were constantly in the shop and was told to wait for a couple of years to get the bugs out. The newer 93 is built with some cheaper parts, seems lighter, and the interior just seems to have a heck of alot more plastic...not that plush. I would upgrade to a newer used model, a 01', 02'or the newer 05' depending on your budget.
