I thought I was done with this site when the lease on my '03 9-3 was up and I jumped on a CPO Audi A6 4.2. Then, the nanny totaled our beloved VW Golf and I replaced it with the exact same car you now have. Having very recent experience with both, I can assure you that, unless you simply must have a hatch, an NG 9-3 is a wonderful car for the money and vastly superior to an NG 900 in virtually every way. Much fresher styling, much better power, handling and braking. Plus, if you're worried about the GM stigma, you need to go buy an OG 900. The NG 900 and the NG 9-3 are both Saabified Opels. There are good economic reasons to keep your NG 900, but if you're ready to move on, I'll bet you would be very happy in an NG 9-3.
