Hey, I went through the same problem yesterday. The directions from eEuroparts are bunk!
On your new antenna mast, there's a metal clip on the outside. I'm willing to bet that same piece is stuck on the inside. For me it was an hour and a half job, which entailed pulling the whole thing apart several times trying to figure the best way to solve it. Here is my advice:
- Unbolt the motor from the car, and take all wiring off
- Undo all the screws that hold the base of the antenna in place
- Pull the base (the long metal piece) out and slide the antenna in through the bottom
- Unbolt the small, gold nut on the bottom motor piece
- Carefully remove all white plastic cover on the inside
- At this point you'll want to feed the plastic antenna teeth through the wheels yourself, and of course it is not easy. The best way I found was to pull out the small wheel, which allowed the big wheel to let you feed the cable through.
- Carefully wind the cable into the plastic holder
- After this, slide the small gear back into place and put everything back together
- Refit all pieces and slide back into place.
The fact that I had an extra set of hands made this a lot easier, but it worked well. I don't know how eEuroparts found there directions to work since I couldn't even slide the bottom piece of the antenna through the opening at all.
Best of luck!
