I have Akebono ceramics in my wife's 9-5 wagon and Axxis ceramics on my 9K and daughter's, too. Good bite, low/no dust. I'm hearing good things about the offerings from Porterfield brakes, but haven't used them myself.
As for fluid, regular DOT 4 fluid is fine. You don't need to spend more for ATE Super Blue. It's advantage is that is has a higher boiling point but you're unlikely to need that on the street, unless you are doing a lot of steep downhill mountain roads. Even then, your pads are much more likely to outgas and cause fade than your fluid is to boil, unless you're driving really hard.
