Sorry for the confusion. Yes, I did the control arm bushings, cv boot, ball joint boots, etc. one week, then the right inner driver a week later ( I was hoping it didn't need to be done, but it did.) As for the carrier bearing, yes I did replace it and there is a chance I might have not things correctly on the install. I had a hell of a time getting the carrier bracket to sit back in place.
So for the sound, it is more like a fast gurgling noise and after reflecting about it, it does sound similar to a bad wheel bearing, though not quite the same. I'm not getting any noise other than when there is horizontal loading. Also, the symptoms are not always there upon cornering (though most of the time the noise is there on loading.) I would figure if it were the wheel bearing, then the symptoms would be more consistent.
As the title of the post, yeah I could have done better :) The reason it was in regards to the stanchion arm bushing was because I think it might have been too worn when I put it back in and I had this vision of the stanchion arm bushing allowing the cv joint to compress, grinding the tripod bearing into the cup.
