Thanks Walt, I'll check it again. It was smooth when I replaced the rack. My front end, and one axle was completely rebuilt about 2 years (20K miles) ago. I'm baffled, as there is no pump whine, or noise. Even when turning lock to lock. The system is really smooth.
I'm hesitant to try another rack. I'll check the return line and reservoir first, disassembling and cleaning them. Perhaps there is a restriction from the rack outlet.
