I'm not sure what you mean, but I think we're talking about the same thing. I don't have the numbers in front of me, but the chart in the Saab manual shows one boost value for 1st and 2nd, and another value for 3rd-5th.
The HBC will override the ECU's control (here I am telling YOU this :), but isn't the same thing accomplished inside the Abbott ECU, for similar end results?
