I won't say that I have not had problems with repair companies! Luckily for me I now have a SAAB specialist who even gives me a discount on my next part purchase or service, if I find anything wrong. But that is extremely rare. I once complained about a fault that caused just 3 of the cylinders to work at times. They spent 3 weeks looking for it, but the fault just wouldn't show up. In the meantime they lent me a loan car. When I got my car back, the fault showed up the moment I left the garage. SO I turned back, and demonstrated it to them. AFter that, parts and labour were free. Turned out to be a damaged EHT lead. My style of driving seemed to induce the fault far quicker. The guys at he garage drove far too slow and at low revs. SO the EHT lead never got to the stage where it started to break down.
