Your battery is low. The alternator is still working, but not keeping up with the loads. Check the battery cells for electrolyte level. If ther are at different levels, the higher one could be shorted and the others over charging and loosing level.
The alternator could have some of the 3 phases blown or its regulation could be shot.
I would pull the fuse that provide for the lights being on all of the time. This might provide some relief if you have any daylite driving.
If the vehicle stalls, the lights will come on. Its hard to say whats happenning as it is all very sudden and unexpected. If the alternator fails and the battery is charged up, you can run for quite a while with not adverse effects. So I cannot see the connection.
Low electrolyte levels do cause problems with the ECU as well as exploding batteries.
Possibly the alternator is weak and the battery undercharged and there was an alternator related event with the stall.
I would charge the battery up over night and then measure the voltage, then monitor it.
Do check the electolyte levels.
