Well this has turned into quite the little holy war, hasn't it?
Thanks for the additional info about the instrument cluster Bruce. You're right, it sounds like I just needed to look a little closer. I don't recall however seeing anywhere that I could access the bulbs from the back of the cluster. The good news is that now that I know what I'm doing it should only take me about 15 minutes to get back in there and take a look.
I'm curious to see where this thread goes from here. There is obviously a lot of confusion and/or misinformation out there regarding this, and I know that other people would benefit from hearing the debate continue. Unfortunately I don't have access to a Tech2, otherwise I'd be taking a more active role in determining if that route will work or not.
