Hi Bill,
Thanks for your comments. The new serpentine belt here in NZ was $108 which would be equivalent to $45.81 USA. How does this price compare? I have not priced the idler pulleys yet as I have been giving them some thought after seeing all the comments on this site. What I think I will do is to make my own pullies out of aluminium. Make them accept standard bearings and turn up steel inserts to clamp the inner race with the original attachment bolt. Has anyone else done this? Before I do this I will do some research on what bearings would be suitable.
My wife often does these sort purchases for me all I have to do is to write down the Company, their address and a detailed list of what I want.
