I forgot to elaborate on my experience with KYB. I had also put a set of these in an Explorer that I recently sold. After 25K miles they were all done and offered little damping. Considering the el-cheap-o stock units lasted me 75K I was surprised. The KYB units were not cheap. These were the Gas-A-Just models and are supposed to the the best offering from KYB. For my Saab I have the GR2 models, which is a step down and only expect these units to last 25K - 30K miles. This was poor judgement on my part, but I was in a cash crunch and these can be had on the Tire-Rack web site rather cheap. I paid $52 each for the Saab. Good units will cost you lots more.
