We've been over this MANY times!!! Pay attention!!!
The PLATFORM is a very basic thing that is heavily reworked by Saab. You'd be hard pressed to find ANY similarities between a new Saturn and a new Saab. Get the facts rather than spread ignorant statements such as this.
Do you think Audi owners are all up in arms that their cars share MANY parts (some quite blatantly) with VW's? Does it really matter?
Do you understand WHY car makers have to cut costs? (Heck, even Mercedes Benz builds the S-class the cheapest way they know how!)
The days of an "All Swedish" car are over... They've BEEN over for a long time (but maybe you just didn't realize it). Even ye olde "classic 900" and the 9000 are filled with non-Swedish (and even some GM) parts. Heck, they used GM Saginaw power steering racks on the Saab 99's!
Rant over.
