You are at the same point I was a couple weeks ago, did the same mods (up to the MBC) and didn't notice any gains in power. As you have probably read, the MBC makes a big difference and also eliminates the boost limit in 1st and 2nd gear, not to mention quicker spooling. The car becomes much more fun to drive and really stretches its legs.

The install takes a few minutes, but it may take some time to dial the unit in. This isn't a big deal. Drive the car, stop and adjust, drive the car, stop and adjust (repeat as needed, until fuel cut is hit and back off just a little.

I had upgraded the BPV valve with an plastic performance Bosch unit (it's cheaper than the billet metal types) and have not heard any noises from the unit. Either I'm lucky or the upgraded unit does not have this issue.

Buy the cheaper unit ($35). Both are made from off-the-shelf fittings readily available from McMaster Carr supply company and cost about $17 to make yourself. If you do not have access to a good drill press, I recommmend buying it from Dawes. The first one I purchased from Dawes, but then ordered the hardware to make more for my other car, family and friends.

If and when you do the MBC, let us know your thoughts after taking a ride.
