We have had the same cold start problem, and after replacing some parts with no effect, I believe that it must be the idle air controller, (under the intake manifold on the drivers side) is plugged with oil gunk/bad. Ours developed this problem after the oil cooler went bad (keep an eye on your coolant reservoir, if there is gunk developing, your cooler may be going bad = messy). I have to replace the valve cover gasket on the back soon, at which point I will clean/replace the controller.

The larger hose is the crankcase vent hose, this goes to an aluminum box on the end of the rear cyl head. Also connected to this box is another smaller vent hose that goes to the other end of the intake manifold.
This second hose swells up from oil and can be loose (also the small orifice on the hose barb on the box can be plugged up).

The smaller hose is probably the line to the fuel pressure regulator, which is on the fuel rail, between the cyl banks. There is another small hose that goes over to a solenoid valve on the firewall by the brake booster (this was all dried out/cracked on ours), from there another hose goes over the trans to the air injection system.

There is a ~10mm OD hose that goes to another solenoid valve on the shock tower, then into the passenger side fender to the fuel vent system. This hose is actually plastic inside, with a rubber hose over it. At the end where it connects to the solenoid, is a short rubber hose, this was cracked and leaking on ours.

Hope this helps.
