I did an upgrade with Kappa 32.5CFs in the dash and Kicker RMB6's midbass drivers in the doors. The Inifinity's are superb with much better midrange and highs than the stock speakers. Honestly, (for the money) I don't know how much better components would be than the infinitys.
As for the RMB6s, at first I though it was only marginal improvement in the bass (using the stock amplifier), but after listening for 3 weeks, my opinions have changed dramatically. The bass is much tighter, defined and realistic. I think the bass would tighten up even more, if I dynamatted the doors.
The only thing that I wish I could improve is the imaging...but that would mean mounting the tweeters and midrange driver in the kickpanels and lots of cutting, etc and a lot more custom work.
