Thanks for the responses.
My '95 SAAB 900SET Coupe has 36,000k. Shocks and springs are the original equipment. We just bought a '02 Aero mainly for my wife's use and cannot afford a Viggen too. The 900SET is stock. We will be moving from Hawaii to Seattle in December. Besides not being able to afford another new SAAB for a while, our impending move got me thinking about performance upgrades especially because there will be a lot more places to drive, including the mountains. Plus I really like my two door hatchback and don't know when or if SAAB will bring it back any time soon.
What I have been thinking about is boosting the Hp but not at the risk of damaging the engine, clutch or transmission. If the horsepower is increased from 185 to the 210-230 range, I was thinking that I should also be ready to deal with torque steer issues at the upper hp range, and
Maybe change the exhaust and air filter.
I'll have to check on the sway bar and steering rack issues you mentioned when I get home tonight.
