To fix or sell... That is the question...

Please see my posting from a few days ago regarding a ball-joint repair.
1995 900s
As I mentioned, the repair estimate is about $775. (Replace both ball joints, control arms, wheel alignment). With 110k miles on the car, my concern is whether or not it's worth it to get it fixed. $775 isn't a punch in the face, it's more of a gut punch. It's the first substantial repair bill I've faced with this car. I guess I'm worried about this being the beginning of a new costly era in my ownership. I can handle 1 gut punch, but 1 every several months might start to hurt. The mileage will continue to climb at 20k per year.
So, I suppose my question is: Given the age, mileage, miles per year, and value of the car, what would you do if you were in my shoes? (Incidentally, what IS the value of my car? I try kbb.com, edmunds.com, nada.com, and they each give widely different values. Which one do you think is most accurate?).
Thanks for your advice.
