Yes, $775 hurts a bit, but don't overlook the costs and hassle of getting a newer Saab. I decided to upgrade my 1991 900S (~101K miles) when I rec'd a $500 estimate for an oil leak. The car was paid off. I figured that $500 was a couple months of payments on a newer one, so I immediately started the upgrade process ... BUT I completely overlooked the fact that I'd pay more than $1000 in taxes, couple hundred to register (plus county taxes), a doubling of my insurance (!), etc.
Having said that, I do love my newer car ... 98SET
