Yeah, the best fun comes with a price ;) Horsepower certainly isn't the worst vice to have.

I run an MBC instead of the BPC and I'm more worried about the gearbox. T5 does restrict boost as part of its control loop, but only as an absolute last resort, after things have gone horribly wrong with mixture and timing. (And it should mercilessly CEL at that point, not useful for a sustained heavy-boost detonation but good warning if something's falling out of whack around town.) I'm still of the opinion that the stock equipment is up to it for normal/aggressive driving @ 15 or so. Above that, I'm surprised the stock fuel components supported 20 psi with an Abbott box. Gotta love that T5.

It's not like an Audi where you ground the fuel pump relay and crank up the boost until the turbine wheel vaporizes ;)

Speaking of vaporizing, what sort of wheels/tires did you use to keep 22psi in the vicinity of the pavement?
