Try a bottle of Techron Concentrate, note the CONCENTRATE. Do this before you do mechanical repairs etc.
plugs? NGK BCPR6ES11's? 7ES will also do. gapped to .035 or .039?
checked vac lines? cracks or split ends
checked electrolyte levels in the battery?
We had a similar problem post filter change. Perhaps some crud gets into the fuel pressure regulator and it does not seat well after that. But perhaps the filter change was coincident with the onset of colder weather. You could have multiple causes, and fouled injectors might be only one aspect. A couple of fuel pump issues relating to stating etc too.
Clean the IAC valve, search for IAC.
Clean the throttle body where the throttle plate closed in the TB bore.
So do the basic checks and maintence items before doing RPR or pump etc.
The DI could be the problem too, but that is $280 to replace.
