One thing that I don't care for with the V6 auto is the slugginesh when accelerating gently.

It's only one car that is worse, and that is the 9000 with V6 auto.

We have only a couple of customers with V6 stickshift, and they take off pretty good, but we have a whole bunch V6 auto customers.

If you step on it hard it will take off good, but if you want to save gas money, it takes forever to get going.

Have the dealer run a VIN check to see all the repairs that have been done at a dealer, and if no evidence shows up that the T-belt and tensioner kit have been replaced. Have that planned in the very near future. It's almost due for the 65K service anyway where the dealer do the T-belt for free.

When chosing a convertible, you also have a couple of weak spots on the ragtop. One failure that can be prevented is the motor assembly that lifts up the tonneu cover. The first generation motor brackets was not sturdy enough and allowed the gearbox to slide apart.
The whole motor assembly is about $1300.00 but if caught early, a repair kit can be installed and that save you a lot of money.
