Car on jackstands. Job was to replace the left rear brake calipers. Ouch! Smashed my hand today pulling on a breaker bar when freeing up the rear caliper bolts, trip to the ER, 3 broken fingers on right hand, damaged tendons and 31 stitches. First time I have seen my finger bones from the outside (I remember the compond fracture I got skiing where my shin bone came thru the skin 20 years ago). My hand hit a 16 oz. can of PB Blaster which I had been using to free up 9 years worth of corrosion.

Moral of the story, please be careful, do not get in a hurry, and make sure your workplace is free of any potential hazards. Look twice, think of what could happen if...I was trying to get this done in 45 minutes.

I could have had my indie do this and bought he and his wife chateaubriand for a month and it would have been cheaper by the time I am done with this. Now if I can just keep my wife away from the painkillers.

When I saw what happened to the folks on Columbia today, my pain went away. God bless them.
