Go to your friendly neighborhood Toyota dealer and buy yourself a tube of their Black F.I.P.G.(my local dealer just calls it "Fip"). It's similar to Permatex's "Ultra Black RTV". Follow the instructions...paying particular attention to cleaning, especially the groove in the valve cover and the "corners" on top of the Head. Use a little "Mineral Spirits" on a clean rag and "Q-tips" to get into the corners. Be very thorough the slightest oil film will ruin your day. A light coat all the way around with a little dab in the corners should do it. I like to let it "cure" over night before firing it up. Our '95 V6 has 147,000 miles and runs sweeter every day. The only remaining leak is the oil-pan gasket. By the way never use any silicone type sealer including this stuff on a non-captive gasket (such as flat cork oil-pan gaskets) the gasket will squeeze out upon tightening and leave you with a real mess. Take your time, do this right, and you'll probably never have to do it again. Good luck!
