They're both spot-on for the type of driving you do. Why change your oil every five weeks when you can get better protection for longer drain intervals with a good Group IV (PAO) synthetic? I change my M1 0W-40 every 10k miles, which works out to about once a year with the short-trip driving we do. You shouldn't have ANY problems going beyond that distance with 95% highway driving.
Another good option for your car would be to switch to time-based intervals, rather than mileage-based intervals. Pick two times a year to change it (April & October?) & never endure a nasty-weather oil change again.
