This is a copy off a post I wrote some time ago:
I've been down this road in a big way. Finally got rid of it.
Check things in this order:
1.) Check the obvious. Out of round tires, bent wheel, tie rod or wheel bearing play, torque the 3 strut top mount bolts (18 ft lbs). Loosen all 3, bounce the front bumper up and down, and torque...wierd but it worked for me.
2.) Verify good wheel balance. Find a shop which has the ultra high tech Hunter GSP9700 Wheel Vibration Control System. Look on Hunter.com for a shop near you. Newer cars (including the NG900) with lightweight suspension components are very sensitive to even small wheel balance issues. Wheel balance incompetence abounds at "discount" tire shop chains.
3.) Alignment...for piece of mind.
4.) Replace rearmost bushings on "stanchion" control arms. They get tired and soft and allow the wheel to vibrate at highway speeds. These bushings are only $15 each.
Doing all this solved my problem. I think I traced mine down to soft rear bushings and the driver's side strut mount which had come loose and repositioned itself (hence the bumper bounce to reseat it). No more problems now.
