Yeah, it does blow.... I didn't mean that your evaporator was bad, but it is obviously what has to get cold in order for the A/C to work. A low charge, etc., would equal poor cooling manifested via a lukecool evaporator.
I think you need to determine whether the evaporator is getting and staying cold. If not, it would seem to be an A/C system problem. If it IS getting AND staying cold, then it seems to be an air distribution problem with the ACC system.
As you know, all incoming cabin air passes by the A/C condensor. So unless you are in ECON mode (A/C off), regardless of the interior temp selected, the incoming air should first be cooled as it passes the condensor. The is intended to lower the humidity. Then depending on the selected air temp, the air is then "re-warmed" as necessary as it passes (or does not pass) the heater box.
In other words... with the system designed like this, I would start by figuring out whether the evaporator is getting and staying cold. You already looked into the air distribution and it seemed to be OK, right?
