well it is very easy to do the front three. but the back three are a little trickier. you have to disconnect the throttle body from the intake manifold, then move the intake manifold out of the way to be able to access the rear valve cover. I recently replaced the rear valve cover gasket, spark plugs, and i cleaned the wires(dean says to clean wires with soap and water, but yours may need replacing with sparks coming out and all), and cleaned the iac valve. adn the whole job took no more than 2 hours. if you do a search for "v6 plugs", you will find a posting by micheal p that is very helpful. it covers the entire process of getting to the rear bank. just follow his instructions, and remember which hoses you disconnected when you go to put it all back together. with michael p's posting this is an easy diy. ps. you will need a new gasket for the intake manifold when you put it back on, they're cheap.
good luck
