I had my first saab at 25 years old after 6 years of dreams on the SPG black/gray with tan interior... Just got a 1992 900 black 4 drs with tan but clots interior, 308K!!! (who says that they are not reliable?) and paid 1700$ for it. It was such a lemon, i had to invest major money on it, but still, i was driving more than 1500 km / week in that car and i never have been so comfortable, the cassette CLarion made me find again my old music that i was listening to 10 years ago!!

When going to Ottawa at 150 km/h at 3300 rpm only with Tom Waits signing like just on the back seat I was truly happy. Sold the car 6 month later, 2600 $ to a military that felt in love with it, got to try a same year Accord (same price too), and came back running without a doubt, paid me cash. ANd is happy still then.

Finally, it costed me 150-180$/ month to drive a saab, it's about the price of a Hyundai, but what a difference...

I'm now trying to get a 96 900S from alabama, 2 drs red with the 6CD Clarion, I almost dont sleep since I tryed it, I'm going to know in a few hours from now if I have it, I LOVE Saabs, I'm driving 40 000 km/ year and it's the olny car that I got and allowed me to arrived home with no back pain! Thanks for sharing your problems / passions with others like you.
Jetta driver but not for so long...
