Where can I buy Clarion stereo volume control?

I've been having trouble with the factory Clarion stereo in my 1996 900SE. Sometimes it will come on at full volume when the car is started. Other times there will be no volume at all. Turning the volume knob will generally have no effect on the volume, although occasionally repeatedly spinning the knob will make the control start to work and then things will be good for awhile.
I believe the volume control potentiometer is at fault and have read other posts where people have opened up the potentiometer and cleaned it with success (I am about to try this). I also read a post that indicated you could buy a new volume control potentiometer from Clarion, but it was not mentioned how to go about doing this. Does anyone know how to buy the part from Clarion? Is there a web site? Help.
I have disassembled my radio and removed the volume control (both of which were fairly easy) which is a potentiometer with an attached small circuit card and 5-pin connector. The only part number I see is a "606t" on a sticker on the side of the pot. There is also some printing under the "606t" typing that looks like it could be "Alps", but I'm not sure.
