I understand about the orange peel, etc, but being that the factory paint is high baked(400 degrees on average)can a repaint that is done without a paint booth compare to a OEM in terms of scratch resistent, etc... And is not the factory paint or primer E coated (electronic) which helps in terms of uniformity? Aside from the orange peel issue, what does anyone think of aforementioned? I've also seen nice repaints that were straight at first, but after a while, the appearance became warp (shrinking primer?) I hate using Bondo. I rather cut out panels and weld or replace fenders
Doug. I'm curious to know what steps were taken with that pretty 99? Paint booth? Oven baked?
