In the past, I have been warned not to fill up the tank when the gasoline truck is filling up the stations tanks. My dad always warned me away from this, and I had a neighbor (not a friend of a friend :) who had their car repaired by a station for the same issue (admittedly many years ago). Has this become an urban legend in the modern age? Is there any reason to worry about this?
It makes some sense, that sediment might be dislodged while the underground tank is being filled, maybe they have measures in place to counteract this. Anyone know anything about this?
Thanks
