I've test driven the TSX and the new TL 6 speed. They have small seats with short cushions that don't offer a lot of leg support. The seats in the Accord are big and absolutely superb so I don't know why Honda backslid with its Acuras. Leg room in both Acuras was more than adequate for me (I'm 6 feet) even though I sit further from the pedals than most people. Headroom was ok too. The TSX has only 166lb/ft torque but it doesn't feel like it's lacking in low and mid range punch. You have to rev it more than the Saab but it's much, much better than the first generation vtec. The 6 speed keeps revs down on the highway. The TL performs closer to its torque figure than its hp figure. Both cars are mechanically refined and quiet but let a lot of tire noise into their cabins. I don't know what a noise metre would say but I think the 9-3SS is quieter on the highway but that may be due to the all season tires on it. Both Acuras had performance tires. The shifters aren't as good as Hondas usually are. I had trouble finding 5th and 6th reliably in both. Their interiors are ergonomically excellent and nice to look at. Their trunks are small. The space was taken for the rear seat instead.
