I just recently decided to buy a Saab. I didn't look at acura, but I did test drive a mercedes CLK, a volvo C70, an Audi A4, a BMW 330ci, and a BMW M3. I found that the saab 93 did just as well breaking, eccellerating, and handeling. The smoothness of the ride is about in the midle of the others. It did however have the most interior space. Much more than the volvo, and about the same as the CLK. I'm 6'2, so leg room was a big concern for me.
It also boasts the most cargo space in its class by 3 cubic feet. I'm looking at convertables, so the back seats don't drop, but I think on the other models they do, and those flat Ikea boxes will slid right in.
Another big difference is that you can get a very comfortable fully loaded saab for about the starting price of the other cars I was looking at. I have a friend who drives an acura from a few years back, and I've noticed that the interior space is ample enough, plus you can get a nav. system with a touch screen (the touch screens are rare).
