So how come most FWD cars have tunnels running down the middle, sometimes huge tunnels. I had a 70 Tornado that had a perfically flat front floor door sill to door sill. The rear floor had wide thresholds, for the exhaust, then flat across the middle. Now you have to buy a van to get a flat floor. Some progress.
