I agree with most of what you said but GM is right, the torque steer can be pretty effectively eliminated with the VRK-style steering rack kit and good tires. That said I am a bit weary of the clunky shifter, rattles and harsh ride. I would imagine that with the decreased rigidity in the convertible this would be even more noticeable. I really love the giddy up and go it provides but at this stage in my life I'm willing to sacrifice a bit of speed for a more refined ride. Before I expire the warranty I'll decide whether to trade for new or CPO 9-3SS Arc or 9-5 Arc. I really like the fit and finish in the 9-3SS Arc but also like the roominess of the 9-5. I will likely stay a SAAB customer at any rate. About the only other car I would consider at this time would be an Acura TL but they don't come cheap with all the goodies.
