Saab needs more products to keep dealers and broaden it's customer base. Period. It cannot survive having 2 models - that's why they're going to have more and more new models coming out over the years. Will help drive dealer traffic and keep customer from defecting from Saab for another brand.
Saab also needs to build cars in the US to hedge against dollar fluctuations. Just look at BMW and Mercedes, who aren't as hard hit by the dollar being so low against the Euro because they build many cars HERE in the US and sometimes, EXPORT them to Europe. I'm glad the 9-7X will be built here.
