XM or Sirius question

This topic has been broached before, but I was wondering what everyone thinks about the fm switchbox modulator that is offered by delphi and kenwood for XM and Sirius. I'm inches away from getting one of the setups but I want to make sure these things work....I am in richmond, va and the fm spectrum is pretty well filled between here and philly where I often travel.
Are these units compatible with the Saab radio in my 1999 9-5? Do they work?
Any and all comments greatly appreciated
