but what kind of "pop" is it? A sudden loss of pressure or gradual loss. As pointed out gradual leans towards a small puncture, perhaps from the rims not having inner tape, a thorn or other debris in the tire, etal. In these cases really run your fingers over the inside of the tire a few times. I have gotten flats from the tiniest thorn after I thought I'd checked thoroughly.
But, if it is a sudden loss of pressure and there isn't an obvious hole in the tire itself check the tube for the tell tale signs of a snake-bite (when the tire compress so far that the rims bite each side of the tube). This will cause sudden loss of pressure and will be evident by 2 holes on the inner tube, one opposite the other.
Further, what kind of frame? When I went from steel to aluminum I was constantly getting snakebites on the rear only due to the stiffer frame and improper weight distribution while riding (downhill & off road). 2 solutions are to run a higher tire pressure or go tubeless. Running higher pressure is a cheaper fix if it works for you.
BTW- carry a tube patch kit or new tube and ride with a pump or those smaller pressurized canisters are pretty good and fast but, don't give the same pressure as a pump.
