Don't have it, but I used to ride the T, especially

Red, Green and commuter rail. It was at worst terrible, at best marginally adequate. Compared to Chicago, the only other US one I've really used, the T is pretty lame.
And compared to German cities or Paris it's primitive. I use trains everytime I go to Europe, both for local and long distance and always go away happy. The US is generations behind Europe for public transport.
But in Boston, it can still beat driving, at least in the city. If I were again sentenced to commuting into Boston I would drive to the T or commuter rail.
