I did say oportunity creates temptation. Time and time again my neighbors and friends who leave doors open have things stolen. Kids will walk by and try the doors of cars they pass. I do not say it is acceptable. I do not say it is right. I do say your insurance company will suggest you lock up your house and car everywhere you go.

Do you keep your valuables in your livingroom or in a vault? Do you lock your house doors when you go to work? Come on Drew! There are no thieves in your area? Why do you think cars have locks, debit cards have security codes, and people put alarms and Lojaks in their vehicles?

There are people out there evil enough to live in our midst, learn to fly planes, befriend their neighbors, then fly planes into buildings. Is it too much to assume there are other people in our midst that are thieves.

In Houston, I guess you feel the only thieves were in Enron?

The sad truth is that there are enough people out there that do not share yours or my sense of honesty. It is not fair. It is not right, but it is undeniable.
