Australia's anti speeding TV ads...

Just thought I would see what sort of reaction those outside of Australia view our anti-speeding adverts. There were a few posts a while back discussing how full on our ads are... they are a bit graphic, but are actually screened in prime time here!
Have they helped people slow down in Australia? I would say yes... there is a remarkable difference in people's attitudes to driving and speeding down here when compared with 10 years ago. The ads are shown along with people being given harsh speeding fines by police if caught... with Victoria probably the worst state where they book you for going 3km/h over the speed limit!
My own view on the ads are I think they are excellent and take a really good initiative (considering how many stupid drivers are out there)... makes you think when out driving (even if the fines weren't as strict).
The latest campaign is called "Wipe off 5"- as in wipe off 5 km a hour and aims to get people thinking when driving around neighbourhoods where the speed limit is usually 50km/h.

Anyways, just thought I would share and get people's feedback :)
