Well hopefully the first thing he will do is clean house in Saab USA customer service. What a miserable excuse for a customer service organization. I bought a new car in Dec 2006 and my new car deal still isn't finalized. Saab USA made a mistake in a part shipment (prepaid $800+) then everything fell apart and Saab USA and the dealer appear to be engaged in some bizarre dance while I suffer.
The dealer at this point gets a lot of the blame. However, even dealer Saab USA relations look bad from what I can see.
I finally wrote Saab USA outlining the issue and asking for their internal status and explaination for the delay. They clearly didn't even read the darn message which is what really burns me. I was OK with things up to that point. They offered to assist me in getting my car repaired. My car is NOT broke and this is very clear from the message. The car isn't at issue. They requested a bunch of information most of which was (a) completely irrelevant and (b) more importanly already very clearly outlined in my original message.
My mom had the same complaint when she dealt with Saab USA a few years ago. As a result they swore of Saabs and bought a Subie instead of a new Saab a couple years ago.
I am just going to shut up again for now and see if I can get this resolved yet this month.
