I've seen it around town but never realized they were actually based here in Spokane.
I'm certainly not a fan of the styling. In fact, this car, the Sparrow, and the Honda Insight are too 'out-there' for me. The styling of these cars, I think, is why a lot of alternative powered cars haven't really caught on. The most recent Prius finally started to look like a normal, practical car and in turn, it started to sell (that and the timing seemed to be pretty good with all the "green" hype). Then again, maybe that's the point - making a statement that you are saving the world one mile at a time. I'm not sure how well the normal looking alternative fuel cars (Toyota Camry & Highlander hybrid, Honda Civic & Accord hybrid, etc.) are selling. I wonder if they are too mainstream for those looking for an alternative car. If I were looking for a commuter car, the SMART or the Mini would be high on the list.
