Yes, I agree with the lack of response to your post, probably due to geography. This is a Saab related forum and I don't think there are many Saab owners in TX, LA area. Most here probably live in the northeast, so few have been through what you experienced.

It's difficult to comprehend this type of devastation unless they have seen or lived through one first hand. Pictures or footage shown on TV hardly reflect the extend of destruction.

Also unfortunate was the timing of the Category-5 hurricane that hit the financial industry. Most of the nation's attention and news coverage was on Wall Street rather than on the destruction of Ike.

I'm sure you'll be dealing with your insurance agent and the usual slow wheel of re-building and claim processing.

Please keep us posted.
